Close to your entertainment and
recreation needs.
Dozens of restaurants, grocery stores, specialty
shops, churches, restaurants, medical and dental
offices, banks, and coffee shops are located in walking
distance from the Cedar Park Apartments. In addition,
most of your entertainment and recreational needs are
also near your new home.
In addition to the many entertainment and
recreation facilities within the Cedar Park Apartments,
the Lake City community offers additional opportunities
for your enjoyment. For example, the privately operated
Lake City Community Center offers regularly scheduled
dance, music, financial and hobby programs, plus
a monthly flea market. The nearby Meadowbrook
Community Center and pool features fitness, cooking
and writing programs, as well as regularly scheduled
field trips.
The Meadowbrook Playfield, adjacent to the
community center and pool, includes lighted tennis
courts, walking trails, children’s play area and peaceful
meadows.
Thursday afternoons from May through October,
the Lake City Farmers Market is a great place for
area residents to pick up delicious, fresh and healthy
fruits and vegetables. Shoppers also can buy organic
meats, seafood, baked bread and pastries and other
Washington-grown foods. Cooking demonstrations,
live music and other activities have made the market a
fun weekday event.
The Northgate Mall is only a short distance away
for the serious shoppers. Built in 1950 and considered
to be the world’s first regional mall, today’s Northgate
is still one of the state’s finest shopping centers. And
downtown Seattle with hundreds of stores and theaters
is just a bus ride away.
